No open studio use during scheduled classes. Open studio times vary. Check the calendar at the studio or contact the studio manager, Sam Dowd, firstname.lastname@example.org for a Google calendar. Clean up your area a minimum of 15 minutes prior to a class.
Art Association membership is required. No Instruction.
Monday - Saturday: 9:00am - 9:00pm
Sunday: 9:00am - 7:00pm
Option 1: $125 for unlimited use during 1 month (1 bag of clay included)
Option 2: $125 for a 7-session punch card (1 bag of clay included) (Option 2 is valid up to 4 months)
Options 1 & 2 include one 25-pound bag of clay of your choice (stoneware or porcelain), firing and glazing. Additional clay may be purchased for $18 per bag. Recycled clay may be purchased for $10 a bag.
Option 3: Are you in town and want to use open studio but are not going to be able to utilize a one month pass? No problem, we have lower cost options for you. Day rate $20; one week $50; two weeks $80; clay is not included with these rates.
The Ceramics Studio is located on the first floor at the South End of the Center for the Arts. A 2,050 square foot studio equipped with all necessary tools and equipment for wheel thrown, hand built, slip cast, or sculptural ceramics. The studio has 3 roll-up bay doors to allow easy loading of large work and a fantastic way to enjoy warm summer air. Equipment includes: 1 extruder, 1 - 24” x 48” slab roller, 13 electric wheels, 1 kickwheel, a pug mill, 2 electric kilns, 2 gas downdraft kilns, 1 soda kiln and Raku kiln.
