| Course Description |
| For the beginning potter, this class will cover the basic skills needed to throw a simple pot including cups, mugs, bowls and plates. You will learn the do’s and don’ts of handling clay, firing, glazing and various decoration techniques. Students will leave the class with the skills to proceed to an intermediate level
class or workshop. |

| Jenny Dowd grew up in Kansas where she attended Kansas State University to pursue a BFA in ceramics. She later attended the University of Missouri and graduated with a MFA in ceramics and fibers. Currently Jenny is the Administrative Assistant and Volunteer Coordinator at the Art Association. She also teaches beginning and intermediate ceramics classes. www.jennydowd.com |
