| Come explore our planetary neighborhood through art with visiting artists Monica & Tyler Aiello. This camp integrates art and science to teach children about the solar system, history, and artmaking - giving them a broader perspective of their home world, Earth. The camp fuses scientific investigation with a variety of 2D and 3D art projects including, pastel, collage, sculpture and acrylic painting. |

Denver-based husband and wife team, Monica and Tyler Aiello’s work is inspired by science and nature. Monica regularly dialogs with NASA mission scientists in creating her mixed-media pieces inspired by planetary surfaces. Sculptor Tyler Aiello’s metal work is based on mathematics, biology and botany. The couple enjoys fostering the connection between the arts and sciences by developing unique programs for K-12, college students and adult continuing education. Collectively they have taught and lectured at the University of Redlands, Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center, Mizel Museum, Bemis Art School, Denver Public Schools, Denver Museum of Nature & Science, University of Colorado, Rocky Mountain College of Art & Design, and Colorado State University. www.tandmaiello.com |
