CRITIQUE FOR ALL ARTISTS

This course is offered to any and all artists in every discipline.  The goal of the course is to cross-pollinate and exchange ideas.  However this course will require rigor and respect from participating artists.  Please take advantage and invest in this free opportunity to connect with your fellow artists peers and develop your artist discipline. This will be a great opportunity to workshop a new or ongoing body of work or revisit a recently completed project. The only requirement is to attend at least 6 of the 8 meetings in order to support your peers. Each student will have the opportunity to be critiqued twice assuming two students are critiqued each class.

Thomas Macker received his MFA from CalArts in Photography and Media. He recently transplanted from Los Angeles, CA where he was working as an artist, curator, editorial photographer, and video journalist/filmmaker. As an artist/curator he has exhibited his work in Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, and abroad. For WhyTuesday.org, he wrote, shot, directed, and edited for the organization’s website video blog, which was distributed internationally through various web and broadcast outlets including L.A. Observed, The Huffington Post, Rocketboom, LAist, National Journal, Anderson Cooper 360: CNN, Current Issues: Current T.V., and Day to Day: NPR.
