INTRODUCTION TO PRINTMAKING:
A SAMPLER CLASS

Course Description

If you are interested in printmaking but aren’t sure exactly what it is all about, this is the class for you.  In this lively course, sample a little of relief, etching, and silkscreen while learning about the basics of the materials of the modern printmaker.  Topics covered include operating the press/screen, selecting ink and paper, working with digital media to enhance your printmaking, and most importantly finding a technique that is perfect for your ideas.

Instructor

Tom attended the Kendall College of Art and Design and graduated from Antioch College where he studied printmaking. Tom has been teaching art for almost 20 years in Jackson Hole. He has taught every age group in that time, focusing on wood block printmaking, drawing, painting, and sculpture. He has taught for the Art Association of Jackson Hole, the National Museum of Wildlife Art, and Central Wyoming College.
