Photographs by John Byrne Cooke
Artspace Theater Gallery: October 1 - November 15, 2008
“In April 2005, I was privileged to photograph the dress rehearsals of Off Square Theatre Company’s production of Arthur Miller’s Death of a Salesman–starring Bob Berky as Willy Loman, and directed by Peter Lesnik–with the conscious goal of trying to evoke, in a collection of photographs, the emotional content of the play as it was performed by these actors, many of whom I knew, and some of whom I had acted with in productions by Off Square Theatre’s precursor, the Performing Arts Company of Jackson Hole.” |

Peter vonTiesenhausen
Artspace Main Gallery: September 12 - October 16, 2008
Alberta artist Peter Von Tiesenhausen has a fierce connection to the land. That connection is present in all of his work, whether it's in a painting, mixed media, an installation, or a sculpture made of willow branches, granite, bronze, or wood. His works probe the intrinsic relationships between humans and nature. The Art Association is honored to have Peter create a site-specific work of art for our organization and we are grateful that he is sharing his voice and vision with our community.
