Create jewelry while learning to add color to your metal work with this fun and easy new skill. Enamel adds a powdered glass coating to metal and fuses them together in a kiln. This beginner class covers kiln operation, how-to-safe application of enamel to metal, and finishing techniques. Metal used will be brass and copper included in class cost. Silver available for purchase.
Jen McNaughton has lived in Wyoming on and off since 2000. She attended Michigan State University where she received a BA in English. She has always supported and participated in the arts but her interest in metal smithing came together with the help of the fabulous teachers here at the Art Association over the past several years. As an educator, she enjoys helping children experience and explore what art can be for them.
