Aug 13 - 15 | TUE - THU | 9:00AM - 4:00PM
If you already have a handle on basic techniques or have taken a few one-night silver classes and have experience with sawing, soldering, and finishing, this intensive will empower you to use your skills and our tools to find your own style. Over three days, hone your existing fabrication skills, add new ones, and grow more comfortable and confident in your ability to realize your own designs.
We will master setting a cabochon, tiny hardware, some cold connections, and making your own designs and pieces. Silver included in class will be (1) 2x2" sheet of 22 gauge sterling silver, (1) 2 ft 16 gauge sterling silver wire, (1) 2 ft 18 gauge sterling silver wire, (1) 2 ft 22 gauge sterling silver wire, (3) tiger eye cabochons, sterling silver bezel silver wire and a variety of micro hardware. Please feel free to bring your own cabochons, designs and drawings or additional supplies. There will be open studio time for students of this class included on the first two evenings of the intensive.
