All levels welcome
In this workshop students learn how to break into the competitive world of outdoor and adventure photography. The Jackson Hole Valley is an outdoor and adventure photographers dream location with the Tetons, Snake River, and Jackson Hole valley as a backdrop. The course starts at sunrise and the golden hour of light, and continues with the history of outdoor/adventure photography, then moves into, gear and lenses, pre-production planning, location selection, activities and shoot execution. We use outdoor locations inside Grand Teton National Park as well as professional athletes to capture action photos and create a visual story. The in-field course will cover SUP/Kayak, Biking, Trail Running and Climbing if conditions and time permits. Participants will learn the art and business of outdoor/adventure photography, how to shoot SUP/kayaking, Biking, Trail Running, Climbing and Lifestyle, how to pitch an adventure or expedition story, problem solving in the field, and how to market and sell your photographs. Your class fee provides 2 action sport athletes to photograph. Times of workshop will vary to accommodate sunrise and sunset.
