Create Custom Pumpkins or Face Jugs for Pumpkins on Fire

Custom make your own ceramic jack-o-lantern, face jug using provided bottles thrown by Sam, ghosts or skulls in this class that will be picked up and Raku fired at our new popular event “Pumpkins on Fire,” October 9th. Students will learn basic hand building techniques that yield professional results such as combining pinch pots to make hollow forms, coil building and draping slabs. After building, custom faces may be carved into the clay. Sam will also provide bottles on which faces can be sculpted to create funny, scary or zany faces for Halloween!
