The Art Association of Jackson Hole is pleased to introduce our Guest Artist Program. Teton County has a rich and diverse local artist community, passionate about the arts and inspired by the land. To unveil the program, the Art Association Gallery will host The Artist Next Door, featuring work from six locally-based professional artists who are standouts in their specific medium(s).

The Art Association is partnering with these local professional artists to bring a curated selection of intensive workshops to our studios. These workshops will range in medium from plein air painting and woodworking, to ceramics and traditional printmaking methods. Through these workshops, artists will dive deep into a specific project and/or process over the course of a few days. The workshops will be unique, and many will only be offered one time or once a year.

The exhibit will feature the work of Wendell Field (plein air painting and woodcut), Miga Rossetti (acrylic and mixed media), Doris Florig (fibers, weaving), Erin O’Connor (oil painting), Christy Fuller (charcoal and pastel life drawing) and Jennifer L. Hoffman (pastel). We hope that by highlighting the exceptional work of these artists, the public will get excited about this opportunity to learn from a master in their field and join us in celebrating and collaborating with local artists.

The Artist Next Door will open to the public on September 6, 2024 during the Fall Arts Festival kickoff event, the Palates and Palettes Art Walk, from 5-8 PM. The Art Association will be collaborating with Local Restaurant & Bar for appetizers and 7 Stories Wine will be pouring samples of their offerings. The Center for the Arts will also have receptions in their spaces, creating a campus-wide celebration of art!

The show will be on display from September 6 through October 18, Monday-Friday, 10 AM - 5:30 PM.  All work will be available for purchase.
