The Teton Plein Air Painters began painting together in 2012. The group has over 60 artist affiliated with it and it is now represented by the Art Association of Jackson Hole.
Plein Air painting is the act of painting outdoors. The Teton Plein Air Painters share an enthusiasm for painting “in the open air” and they met 28 times between May and October this year to paint together. This Exhibit ON LOCATION shows the work of 33 Teton Plein Air Painters members. The Teton Plein Air Painters foster artistic development and friendship through a common love of painting outdoors.
