Teton Plein Air Painters
The Teton Plein Air Painters are a group of artists who began meeting informally in 2012. The Art Association manages the communication for the Plein Air Painters, but the organization is still mainly done by volunteers. From May-October, the group meets weekly to paint at various locations around Teton County, sometimes even venturing as far as Teton County, Idaho and Dubois, WY. The group consists of a wide variety of experience levels, from beginner to professional, who all share a love of painting landscapes on location in the great outdoors. Participating artists include long-time local residents, part time valley residents, and visitors.
Any current members of the Art Association of Jackson Hole are eligible to participate in the Teton Plein Air Painters’ outings.
