The Art Association of Jackson Hole is home to five art studios, with mediums including painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, digital arts, ceramics, handbuilding and wheel-throwing pottery, silversmithing/metalsmithing, woodworking, glass fusing and slumping, and more!
The Children’s Studio is located on the third floor of the Center for the Arts building directly next to the Art Association offices. This bright studio is equipped with youth-focused supplies and materials.
Ceramics Studio
Our Ceramics Studio is located on the first floor at the south end of the Center for the Arts building. The 2,050 square foot studio is equipped with twelve wheels, a slab roller, and an extruder. We fire to Cone 10 reduction in two downdraft natural gas kilns and can also fire to Cone 6 oxidation in electric kilns. No outside clay is allowed. A tour is required for first-time users. The Painting, Drawing & Printmaking Studio is located on the third floor. This 1,750 square foot studio includes easels, drawing horses, still life materials, a Takach press, screen printing station, and more. A tour is required. Please email info@artassociation.org to schedule.
This 1,700 square foot studio is above the Ceramics Studio and features garage doors for ventilation, a silversmithing area, woodworking tools, and a glass kiln. A tour is required. Please email info@artassociation.org to schedule.
Located on the third floor, this space includes a 450 sq ft digital lab (with iMacs, scanner, printer, Adobe Suite) and a 500 sq ft black & white darkroom (with enlargers, processing equipment). A tour is required. Please email info@artassociation.org to schedule.
