The Art Association of Jackson Hole is dedicated to encouraging a vital, creative community through education, engagement with, and enjoyment of visual art. A healthy community includes a variety of out of school and out of work offerings for its children and adult members from recreation & sports, clubs & community
service, to arts & culture. The Art Association of Jackson Hole is proud to provide the opportunity to become more actively engaged in visual arts for local children, families, adults, artists, and visitors. We enhance visual arts learning opportunities, contexts for artistic expression and situations for community
engagement. We value creativity and collaboration, and the fostering of these values in our classes, events and exhibits amplifies the social, economic and cultural fabric of Jackson Hole.
We are committed to cultivating community spirit. Our five amazing studios; Ceramics, Multi-Purpose, Children’s, Digital Lab & Photography and Painting, Drawing and Printmaking are spaces where individuals from diverse backgrounds can come together to appreciate and participate in visual arts together. Through the exhibitions in our gallery, workshops with local and visiting artists, and events including Whodunnit?, Art Fairs, Pumpkins on Fire, and Holiday Bazaar, our work fosters social connections. We aim to increase wholeness, balance, creativity, well-roundedness and vibrancy in Jackson Hole.
Education is a primary aspect of the value provided to Jackson Hole by the Art Association. We host a plethora of workshops and classes that promote artistic skills and creativity among community members of all ages. By providing access to art education, we empower our participants to express themselves and develop critical thinking skills. Research shows that arts education can enhance cognitive abilities, improve academic performance, and foster emotional intelligence.
We take pride in fostering community development and enhancing education, and consider ourselves to be an indispensable asset to our community.
