Life Drawing
Our life drawing class is an art class where students practice drawing the human figure from direct observation, using a live model in a variety of poses. The goal is to improve skills such as proportion, anatomy, gesture, shading, and understanding how the body moves and takes up space. These classes often include quick sketches for capturing movement as well as longer studies for adding detail and accuracy. Life drawing helps artists develop stronger observation skills, confidence in drawing the figure, and a deeper understanding of form and composition.
