Jennifer Lee
Executive Director
Jennifer Lee has been working with arts & culture nonprofits in the valley for over thirty years. She holds a master’s in business administration with an emphasis in accounting from the University of Phoenix. Jen joined the Art Association after working at the National Museum of Wildlife Art for 20 years. She has experience in accounting, human resources, program development, fundraising/art show sales, and event management. She enjoys camping, fishing and traveling to exotic places with her family. Besides her travels in the United States, she has also traveled to Paris, Korea, Jamaica, Spain and Portugal. She enjoys sewing, needlework, and collecting art.
Amy Goicoechea
DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT & EDUCATION
Amy Goicoechea is an arts & culture non-profit professional. She holds an MA in philosophy from the University of Utah. Amy joined the Art Association after working in the Education and Programs & Events Departments at the National Museum of Wildlife Art for nearly 20 years. She has two decades of experience in formal and informal education program development, fundraising and constituency raising event management. She contributed to the success of numerous advancement related programs & events by working closely with donors and sponsors. Amy has collaborated with many local organizations to promote the arts in Jackson Hole.
Jen Hoffman
Studio Manager
Jen Hoffman is a professional artist and long-time Jackson resident who has always been involved in the local art community. She earned a BFA in Printmaking and Painting from the University of Delaware. She joined the Art Association after being a partner at Trio Fine Art and a full time artist for many years. She has exhibited in national and international exhibitions and holds signature memberships in the American Tonalist Society and the Pastel Society of America. Her work is in private collections internationally and held in the permanent collections of the National Museum of Wildlife Art, the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum, the Jackson Hole Airport, and St. John’s Sage Living Center. Hoffman enjoys the opportunity to connect our community with creativity and expression through the unique and community-centered gallery space and the best (and only!) art supply store in the valley.
Rachel Smith
Office Manager
Rachel moved to Jackson in 2011 after several years as a retail professional, archaeologist, and ski bum in Park City, Utah. Originally from west Michigan, she earned a BS in Anthropology and Art History from Grand Valley State University. Before joining A!A, she connected people to art and community through roles at the National Museum of Wildlife Art and the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce. Winter is her favorite season; she enjoys downhill and cross-country skiing, painting snowy landscapes, and ice skating in her backyard. She’s also embraced Wyoming summers, spending time camping, rowing her modified canoe, and swimming in chilly lakes with her husband and son.
Cristi Lioni
Volunteer Coordinator
Cristi Lioni is new to Jackson – a west coast native, an east coast transplant, a mountain magnet – from the Sierra Nevadas to the Blue Ridge and now the Tetons! As a life-long creative, her passion lies in abstract multi-media, textiles, and the culinary arts. She finds her own creative expression as an artist and a chef. Cristi has a B.S. in Health Psychology, with minors in Art and Business. Her background in marketing communications/coordination exemplifies the intersection between people and creativity with community and business development. She sees art as a means of relating to the world through creation and appreciation. In that, we find beauty, strength and vulnerability, truth and power. She views art as an expression of our shared humanity-capable of conveying emotion, increasing awareness, building bridges-truly a common language to understanding, increased awareness, and authenticity. Through her volunteer coordination role here at the Art Association, she hopes to connect people with and through art.
Xander McFarland
Sales Coordinator
Xander McFarland keeps our art supply store and gallery buzzing with energy and creativity. Xander loves helping artists and community members find the tools and inspiration they need to bring their ideas to life. Whether he’s guiding new creators through their first projects, or supporting store and gallery events, Xander is all about building relationships and celebrating the creative community we’re proud to serve.
Julia Hinkley
Events Coordinator
Julia Hinkley first moved out West in 2022 from Boston, following her time studying at the Academy of Realist Art Boston. There she studied the Renaissance Master’s traditions in draftsmanship, using graphite and charcoal. In her travels through the Western US, she’s spent time living in Grand Teton National Park, Glacier National Park, Colorado and Idaho. Today, she dedicates her time to coordinating fun-filled events that bring the community together through the Art Association. In her off time, she enjoys painting, backpacking and roller skating.
Annabelle Rey
Adult Education Coordinator
Annabelle Rey has spent most of her life bouncing around the Mountain West from California to British Columbia to Colorado with a few stops in between, making art and admiring the landscape along the way. She has an BFA in Oil Painting and a minor in Jewelry and Metal Arts from the Academy of Art in San Francisco, California. In the aughts she cut her teeth on bear grass and tulips in the San Francisco floral world and now she cuts metal and stones making jewelry in her home studio.
Jon Stuart
Photography Associate
Jon Stuart’s photographs examine the modern West. He began teaching as an assistant to Ansel Adams’ Yosemite Workshops. Since the 1970s he has led workshops for Teton Science Schools, Snake River Institute, Central Wyoming College and the Art Association. His work has been exhibited at the National Museum of Wildlife Art, the University of Wyoming Art Museum, Nicolaysen Museum, Wyoming State Museum, and the Wyoming Arts Council Gallery.
Braeden Ramirez
Sales Associate
Braeden Ramirez has called Jackson home since 2016. His passion for wrestling at Sheridan High School and post graduation has instilled in him a deep sense of discipline, teamwork, and leadership. Upon relocating to Jackson, Braeden fully embraced the area’s outdoor lifestyle. Driven by a desire to create meaningful connections, he views the Art Supply Store as a unique opportunity to engage with the community and make a positive impact.
Callum Mackay
Ceramics Tech
If you are taking a class or working in the Ceramics Studio, Callum Mackay is the person who makes it all happen! From recycling your scraps into usable clay to mixing glazes to firing the kilns, Callum keeps things rolling in our busiest studio. A Kelly, WY native, Callum grew up in his mom’s pottery studio and started throwing as a child. He graduated from Montana State University and joined the Art Association team last October as our Ceramics Tech. In addition to throwing giant bowls and experimenting with creative glaze combos, Callum is an avid skier and outdoorsman. If you see Callum around the studio, be sure to say hello!
Meghan Warren
ADMIN ASSISTANT
Meghan Warren is a long time resident of Jackson with family roots in Pinedale and Sedona, AZ. She holds a MS in Conservation Medicine, a BA in Biology, and a minor in Studio Arts. Meghan is passionate about community, art, animal rescue, and conservation. In addition to working at the Art Association, she is busy raising two young children, and pursuing a certificate in Natural Science Illustration at the Rhode Island School of Design.
