Lessons in Creativity, the Youth Art Exhibit, includes printmaking, photography, ceramics – both handbuilding and wheel throwing, sculpture, mixed media, painting, and drawing. The exhibit includes artwork from youth from Kindergarten through 9th grade. The selected artwork is from youth in classes at the Art Association in 2023.
The exhibit will highlight Art Association of Jackson Hole in-house youth programs, as well as our Creating Hand-in-Hand Outreach program work with Teton Youth and Family Services. The show is class and project based, and highlights the power of art education, focuses on the projects, lessons and is a celebration of our young artists. It gives young artists the special opportunity of having their work displayed in a gallery, and all of the pride and sense of accomplishment that goes along with it.
