The Practice of Art will feature work from Art Association instructors. The idea of “Practice” in art is two-fold. Artists practice skills in order to improve their ability to express their vision. They also create an artistic practice – a regular approach and dedication to creating the work they envision. Art instructors pass on both these concepts, by teaching skills specific to an art medium and also by sharing their own approach to being an art-maker.
This show celebrates that spirit of passing on skills and ideas to those who are eager to learn and follow their own artistic path.
